Jesus came as a baby to Earth to walk alongside people and to die for you.

16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Who is Jesus?

Jesus was born to a virgin named Mary in the small town of Bethlehem over 2000 years ago. His birth was foretold by prophets and his arrival was seen as the fulfillment of centuries-old prophecies.

As Jesus grew older, he began to teach and perform miracles.  He preached about love, compassion, and forgiveness, and his teachings and actions often challenged the traditional norms.

One of the most significant events in Jesus’ life was when He died on the cross. Although he was innocent, he willingly sacrificed himself to take on the sins of humanity, thinking of each one of us at the time. Three days after his death, Jesus was miraculously resurrected.

Jesus’ resurrection is a symbol of hope and redemption for us. It is a reminder that death is not the end, and there is eternal life waiting for those who have faith in him. This gives us comfort during times of struggle and grief, knowing that we are not alone and that there is a greater purpose to life.

In addition to his teachings and miraculous acts, Jesus is an example of humility and service. Despite being the Son of God, He lived a simple life and spent much of his time serving and helping others. This aspect of his character has inspired us to follow His example and make a positive impact in the world.

Jesus experienced a resurrection from death, and made appearances to witnesses. His resurrection holds significance not only for our future but also for the value of our current existence.

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.

Salvation is not achieved through our good deeds, how we live or our endeavours. Instead, it is attained through Jesus, who was sent to die on the cross, resurrected from the dead, and exhibited His power and victory over sin.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

He was brought into existence by a virgin, led a life without sin, performed extraordinary acts, and provided us with a model to emulate. He possesses complete divinity and complete humanity and currently occupies a position of honour beside the Father in order to advocate for us.

30 I and the Father are one.”
